Parklets - Dunedin City 2019

After the success of the first custom concept 'Parklet' for Dunedin City Council we were contracted to fabricate another five unique designs to be placed around the city in unused bus stops. Working with Dunedin Council we mastered the design and manufactured these awesome bespoke pieces of custom street furniture in our West Coast factory. Three of the Five Parklets have been installed by our team, all of which are vibrant and full of colour.

The Parklet pictured below can be found on the corner of George & St Andrew Street. The planters on this Parklet are fabricated from bare steel creating the industrial style look. Park your bike up on our Barcelona Bike Stands and take a load off on the L-shaped Macrocarpa bench seats. The decorative touches on the concrete plinths have been created by a local artist

On the corner of George Street & Moray Place you can find this bright aqua and yellow Parklet. Wave topped timber seats and garden planters make for a nice spot to stop within the inner city.

This bar leaner style Parklet below can be found on Princes Street and features vertical timber slats to encase the external planters. A pop of canary yellow on the custom designed perforated metal bar stools and leaner tables makes this Parklet really stand out.
